INSIGHT
Mutation and evolution are two posters that were initially designed for children. Their playful and colourful design captivates attention immediately and enhances their curiosity about sciences, and subjects like evolution. These posters are unique because they share the same structure. However the result for each of them is entirely different.
GOAL
My main objective with this project was to create two different illustrations built from the same DNA structure. From the start, I knew that these illustrations could be fun and playful, explicitly designed for curious kids of different ages.
OUTCOMEThe final design was successfully obtained after multiple tries and many explorations. Trying to find something that matched the DNA illustration took some time. However, the creation of a dinosaur came up in the end, which helped to create a perfect balance between both posters, so they could complement each other and give a sense of comfort and playfulness that is always welcoming.
